Welcome to the Blue Water Center for Independent Living (BWCIL). As the disability resource of the thumb, we work with individuals, their families, and other organizations and agencies to help people with disabilities live independently.

With an administrative office in Port Huron and staff in St. Clair, Lapeer, Sanilac, Tuscola, and Huron Counties, we help over 4,500 people with disabilities and their families lead productive lives each year. In many cases, our efforts extend beyond the people we serve to benefit the entire community.
