Toni Mazure is an Independent Living Specialist providing services in Huron County. Toni is responsible for providing the core services of advocacy, information, referral, peer support and independent living skills development as well as housing assistance and education for several housing programs. Her areas of expertise include advocacy, consumer involvement and community participation. Toni is actively involved in several community groups such as the Huron County Homeless Coalition, Huron County Project Connect, and the Thumb Area Continuum of Care.

Toni is a graduate of Davenport University. She holds certifications as the agency administrator for the statewide HMIS system, Housing Quality Standards (HQS) and federal Habitability Standards (HQ). Toni is trained in providing Person Centered Planning (PCP) and Self-determination, she has also been trained by Huron County Safe Place as a Residential Service Advocate to provide support services, advocacy and information and referral to survivors of domestic violence. Toni was recently recognized for her excellence by Thumb Area Michigan Works! for providing outstanding services to consumers. Further she has been recognized by Huron County Thumb Industries for her “Support of Individuals with Disabilities.”
