Lynda began her career with the BWCIL in 2007 providing clerical services and administrative support. Her current role is that of an Independent Living Specialist focusing on the provision of housing services for the homeless and near homeless in Sanilac County. Lynda assists with the Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program and Emergency Solutions Grant for Sanilac County. Her responsibilities include completing intakes, determining eligibility, conducting housing searches and/or placement, providing assistance with rental arrearages and utility shut-offs. In addition to this Lynda provides the core services of information and referral. Lynda is certified by the Michigan State Housing Development Authority(MSHDA) to conduct Housing Quality Standards (HQS) inspections and for data entry into HMIS, the statewide housing data base.
