Scott Shine, ILS/ Community Employment Coordinator
St. Clair Core Staff

Scott Shine serves as the BWCIL’s Youth Employment Coordinator for the Youth Opportunities Unlimited Program (YOU) and an Independent Living Specialist in the St. Clair County office of the BWCIL. His main goals are providing education in the areas of job development and exploration. Scott is proficient in assisting consumers with the development of resumes, interviewing skills and job seeking skills. Scott also dedicates time to organizing the annual Blue Water Kickball Tournament, an all inclusive event promoting and benefiting access to recreation for the disabled throughout our communities.

Scott received a Bachelors of Science from Central Michigan University in the areas of Sociology and Psychology and has been working with the BWCIL since 2009. He serves on a number of community collaboratives, is a member of the National Workforce Development Professionals of America, and is currently pursuing certification as a workforce development professional. As a lifelong resident of St. Clair County he has strong ties with other community organizations and understands the needs and goals of the disabled community.
